Areas of Practice:
Jamaar Williams attended Arizona State University where he obtained a Bachelor of the Arts degree in English Literature in 2008. He then went on to attend the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at ASU where he graduated with his Juris Doctorate in 2011 and now teaches about criminal law practice. While in law school, Jamaar became a decorated legal writer, oralist, and helped found the Law Journal for Social Justice. Jamaar has spent his entire career defending people facing criminal charges ranging from small possession cases to complex fraud and capital murder. In 2020 Jamaar was awarded the Public Service Award from the Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice for his work to protect people’s constitutional rights against government intrusion.
Jamaar was selected as partner not only for his commitment to defending the accused, but because he also tries cases and litigates every issue to set clients up for the best result. His commitment to these principals is illustrated through numerous not guilty verdicts and dismissals including charges such as murder, sex assault, armed robbery, and thefts. Jamaar and Jack both share the same vision — they are not plea machines, but trial attorneys who value people over profits. When someone is accused of committing a crime the only weight, they have is their constitutional rights. Jamaar will do everything we can to fight using those rights.
